Meet Mohamed Elrasheed

Mizan Group was founded after seeing too many people taken advantage of simply because they were not comfortable with technology. They were overcharged, talked down to, or left more confused than when they first asked for help. Our goal is to provide fair, respectful service to clients of every age, to help you use, improve, and build whatever you need with your technology, and to share practical knowledge that will serve you well into the future. Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity from George Mason University, with professional experience spanning IT support, security operations, and infrastructure. That work began with managing IT and endpoint security for a small business, followed by front-line technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. It continued as a SOC analyst, triaging SIEM alerts, investigating endpoint and log data, and documenting more than 100 incidents, and most recently covered account and access provisioning, system deployments, and network troubleshooting as part of an enterprise IT team.

That background also includes nearly three years in data center and critical facilities operations: installing servers, racks, and network cabling in large-scale cloud data centers, imaging and configuring enterprise hardware, maintaining battery and power systems, and securely wiping and decommissioning equipment with full chain-of-custody records. It shaped the practices we follow today, including documentation, change control, and least-privilege access, applied with the same care to an enterprise data center or a home network.
